BOSTON, MA - August 11, 2014 - GW&K Investment Management (GW&K), a dynamic investment management firm offering active equity and fixed income investment solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base, today announced that Reid Galas has joined GW&K as international equity portfolio manager to lead the development of the firm's first international investment portfolio.
Prior to joining GW&K, Galas was vice president of global small cap equities at Deutsche Bank Asset Management in New York. He was also previously a manager with Deloitte Consulting.

Galas, a Chartered Financial Analyst, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
The introduction of an international equity investment strategy will bring GW&K's total portfolio strategy offerings to 16 products across its equity and fixed income products suite. The firm's diverse client base includes corporations, public funds, endowments, foundations, religious organizations, multi-employer/unions, financial institutions, and individuals and families.
