BOSTON, MA - November 10, 2014 - GW&K Investment Management (GW&K), a dynamic investment management firm offering active equity and fixed income investment solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base, today announced that Karl Kyriss has joined GW&K as a vice president and international equity analyst to focus on coverage of Europe and Canada, as the firm develops its new small cap international investment strategy.

Before joining GW&K, Kyriss was a vice president at GTP LLC (formerly Deutsche Bank Asset Management) in New York where he was a senior research analyst covering global consumer, basic materials and industrial sectors. He also held positions with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

Kyriss is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Scranton and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
The introduction of an international equity investment strategy brings GW&Kclient base includes corporations, public funds, endowments, foundations, religious organizations, multi-employer/unions, financial institutions, and individuals and families. GW&K currently has over $21.4 billion total assets under management, of which $4.4 billion are institutional assets.
