GW&K Investment Management Appoints New Partners

Brett Kozlowski, Brian Maguire, and David Rouse named Partners of the firm

BOSTON, MA – March 26, 2026 – GW&K Investment Management (GW&K), a $52.8 billion Boston-based investment management firm offering active equity and fixed-income investment solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base, today announced that it has named Brett Kozlowski, Brian Maguire, and David Rouse Partners of the firm.

Kozlowski, who is a Portfolio Manager for the firm’s taxable bond strategies, joined the firm in 2025. He has responsibility for opportunistic and strategic portfolio positioning, as well as the performance and risk management of these strategies. Prior to joining GW&K, Kozlowski was co-head of Structured Credit at Franklin Templeton, where he managed multi-asset fixed-income funds and structured credit-specific mandates. He has also held roles at Putnam and Fidelity Investments. Kozlowski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.

Maguire joined the firm in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he leads the firm’s financial strategy, enhances financial discipline, and drives strategic initiatives that support the company’s long-term objectives. Previously, Maguire was the Head of Financial Operations & Partner Services at Wellington Management. Maguire graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Rouse, who joined the firm in 2018, was appointed Chief Compliance Officer in 2021. In this role, he not only oversees the management of the firm’s Compliance program but is also a key leader of the firm’s risk management, internal controls, and regulatory oversight processes. Prior to joining the firm, Rouse held several roles at Wellington Management, including positions within the investment advisory compliance team, the error resolution council support team and the fixed income investment compliance team. He began his career at Fidelity Investments. Rouse earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Lawrence University. He is a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Financial Services Leadership Council and is active in investment management industry organizations, including the Investment Adviser Association and the Investment Company Institute.
