Responsibilities

Nancy is a partner and portfolio manager for all of the firm’s municipal bond strategies.  She was appointed co-director of fixed income in 2001, responsible for overseeing all aspects of our management of fixed income assets, including portfolio management, research, and trading.  Nancy is also responsible for relationship management for many high net worth clients and consultants.  Nancy is a member of the firm’s Management and Investment Committees.

Prior Work Experience

Nancy began her GW&K career soon after graduating from Duke University and quickly became an integral member of the firm’s municipal bond team.  She started out doing research for the firm and then assumed responsibility for managing GW&K’s municipal bond trading effort.  In 1988 Nancy became a portfolio manager and was eventually appointed leader of the growing municipal bond team.

Education / Affiliations

Nancy graduated cum laude with an AB in Economics from Duke University, and received her MBA with high honors in Finance from Boston University.  She is a CFA® charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society Boston, the Boston Municipal Analysts Forum, and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.

Nancy sits on the Advisory Committee of Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm.
