Collaboration among people with different perspectives & experiences across our business generates the best ideas.

We take pride in the fact that our policies and practices are inclusive to all. Our commitment to a diverse GW&K is steadfast and permeates the entire firm. Our process will continue to be rooted in learning, open dialogue, and integrity.

GW&K has an established Diversity & Inclusion Committee comprised of a committed group of thinkers representative of all departments and business segments. The goals of the committee include:

  • Fostering an equitable and inclusive workplace
  • Continuing to expand our demographic diversity
  • Providing opportunities for growth and education for our employees; and
  • Being true allies with organizations in our communities that promote diversity and effect change.

Our firm has established various affinity groups and task forces to support a diverse community and foster an inclusive and compassionate work environment. These include:

  • Women in Finance
  • People of Color; and
  • LGBTQ Alliance.

  • Boston Dinner Groups

As part of GW&K’s celebration of Women’s History Month in March, we were proud to sponsor a special gathering for women of color held by the Boston Women’s Dinner Group — an organization dedicated to fostering professional networking opportunities for professionals of color nationwide. The event created great opportunities for networking. Many thanks to everyone who helped bring this gathering to life — and to all women who continue to lead, inspire, and make a difference every day.

  • Women's Lunch Place

In April, 3 groups of GW&K Investment Management employees in Boston had the opportunity to help prep and serve meals for women experiencing homelessness and food insecurity at our Back Bay neighbor Women’s Lunch Place. Women’s Lunch Place is a safe and welcoming day shelter that provides individualized, integrated services focused on nutrition, health, housing, and economic empowerment.

  • Ronald McDonald House of Central Florida

In June, our Winter Park, Florida volunteered their time to create over 600 snack packs, each filled with treats and personal notes, to be delivered to families staying at the Ronald McDonald Houses. Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a home away from home for families traveling for their child’s medical care — offering comfort, meals, and community during some of the hardest moments in life. It was an honor to contribute.
