Summary:
The Business Development Manager, Private Wealth is responsible for cultivating leads, prospects and clients for GW&K's Private Wealth business through direct and intermediary channels. This is an entrepreneurial role and an opportunity to join a growing area of the business. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop and close GW&K's Private Wealth clients through the execution of a well-designed business plan.
- Partner with Wealth Advisors and investment staff as appropriate to strategically increase assets under management.
- Advance and ensure GW&K's private wealth brand is properly placed and promoted among Centers of Influence.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of our Private Wealth offerings and partner with Marketing team to create effective sales campaigns.
- Thrive in an external facing and results-oriented environment with limited oversight.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 plus years private wealth or related sales experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the equity and fixed income markets.
- Ability to leverage reliable network of contacts.
- Sustained and demonstrable record of success closing business.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
