As Director of Private Wealth Management, Dan is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of GW&K’s private wealth business. He also works directly with a select group of individual clients.

Prior to joining GW&K, Dan worked for 12 years at BNY Wealth Management, most recently as National Director of Portfolio Management where he was responsible for the implementation of the firm’s investment strategy, asset allocation, and approved solutions for more than $250 billion in wealth management client assets. Previously, he was a Family Wealth Investment Advisor, working directly with wealth managers, sales, and clients providing comprehensive investment support. Prior to BNY, Dan served as the Director of the State of Florida Treasury and as Head of US Investments for Aviva Investors.

Dan received his BA from the University of New Hampshire and his MBA from Boston University. Dan is a former member of the CFA Institute Board of Governors, with responsibility for the strategy and management of the organization. He is also a past chair and board member of the CFA Society Boston. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society Boston, and CFA Society Orlando where he is a member of its Advisory Council. In addition to the CFA charter, Dan maintains the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Charted Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
