Responsibilities
As Director of Private Wealth Management, Jim leads the strategy, growth, and overall direction of GW&K’s private wealth business. He oversees a team of wealth advisors delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to individual investors. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Jim also serves as a senior wealth advisor, working directly with clients to develop and implement tailored wealth strategies. He is a partner of the firm and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Prior Work Experience
Prior to joining GW&K in 2003, Jim was a vice president and portfolio analyst at Putnam Investments working with Institutional clients and within the International Equity division. Jim started his career at Mellon Private Asset Management and held positions as a sales officer and assistant portfolio manager.
Education
Jim received his BS in Business and Finance from Marist College, and earned an MS in Finance from Boston College. He earned the CFA® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
