JR is a member of the managed accounts team responsible for new business development in the New York Metro region. In this role, JR develops relationships with advisors, educating them on our strategies, and providing ongoing service to enhance the advisor-client relationship. He is based in Connecticut.
JR joined GW&K from Legg Mason-Franklin Templeton where he served as a regional director for the northeast, forging strong relationships and credibility with advisors. Previously, he was a financial planner for Ridgeline Financial Partners. JR began his career in financial services in 2011 working as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch.
JR received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in sales and marketing from The University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business. JR holds the Series 7 and 66 Licenses with FINRA.
As a former competitive cyclist, I try to bring the skills and lessons I learned from racing, like discipline and perseverance, into my everyday life. I’m also passionate about giving back and continue to ride with organizations like Pan-Mass Challenge, Bike New York, Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club of Connecticut and Bike for Humanity.
