Maya is a member of the taxable bond team responsible for research coverage of high yield and investment grade bonds. She has knowledge of a broad range of sectors having provided coverage for Energy, Homebuilders, Telecom and Utilities over the course of her career. Maya is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Most recently, Maya served as a portfolio analyst with the GW&K taxable bond team where she worked closely with portfolio managers to maintain the proper implementation of investment plans for our taxable bond strategies. She also spent time as a performance & analytics specialist as well as an investment operations specialist. Maya began her investment career in 2010 at JPMorgan Chase as a fund accounting specialist.
Maya received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Babson College, F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
I am an avid salsa dancer and a member of an all-female salsa dance company. I love the physical and mental challenge of learning the technique, musicality and connection required for partner dancing. Getting to share our performances with the vibrant Latin dance community in Boston and across the U.S. is especially rewarding!
