Responsibilities

Rick is a member of our US small cap equity team responsible for discovering and analyzing companies primarily in the small cap value market segment in addition to the Real Estate and Utilities sectors. . He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. With almost three decades of investment research knowledge, Rick has garnered extensive experience covering a wide variety of sectors including: REITs, Utilities Consumer, Industrials, Materials, and Transportation.

Prior Work Experience

Prior to joining GW&K, Rick was an equity analyst at Monarch Partners Asset Management for the firm’s small and small/mid-cap value funds. Previous firms include Putnam Investments, Boston Partners Asset Management, and PNC Capital Markets. His investment experience also includes high yield bond investing.

Education

Rick earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a CFA® charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston. Rick is also a Chartered Market Technician (CMT®).
