Responsibilities

Rick is a member of our US small cap equity team responsible for discovering and analyzing companies primarily in the small cap value market segment. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. With almost three decades of investment research knowledge, Rick has garnered extensive experience covering a wide variety of sectors including: REITs, Utilities Consumer, Industrials, Materials, and Transportation.

Prior Work Experience

Prior to joining GW&K, Rick was an equity analyst at Monarch Partners Asset Management for the firm’s small and small/mid-cap value funds. Previous firms include Putnam Investments, Boston Partners Asset Management, and PNC Capital Markets. His investment experience also includes high yield bond investing.

Education

Rick earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a CFA® charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston. Rick is also a Chartered Market Technician (CMT®).
