As CEO, Tom leads the firm’s strategic vision and day-to-day operations, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture while ensuring the firm continues to deliver exceptional value to its clients. He is a partner of the firm and chairs GW&K’s Management Committee in addition to sitting on a number of the firm’s operating committees as part of the firm’s broader committee structure.

Prior Work Experience

Tom joined GW&K in 1996 to lead the firm’s sales and marketing effort where he was successful in establishing relationships with institutions, consultants, advisors, RIAs, and family offices on a national scale. As the company and assets under management grew, he helped to transform GW&K’s sales team, marketing department, and relationship management to meet the demands of a diversified firm. In 2006, Tom was appointed Co-President of the firm responsible for establishing GW&K’s strategic plan and managing the firm’s business. In 2022 he was named Co-CEO. Prior to joining GW&K, Tom held sales and marketing roles and was a vice president at The Boston Company.

The GW&K Culture...
I think we have a special culture at GW&K. It promotes intellectual curiosity, team-centered problem solving, a strong work ethic, and thinking about the investment markets with an entrepreneurial perspective. These characteristics contribute to the high-caliber and long tenure of our investment and management teams.
