Gabriela L. Greenman Named Partner at GW&K Investment Management
BOSTON, MA –April 3, 2023 – GW&K Investment Management (GW&K), an entrepreneurial-driven investment management firm offering active equity and fixed-income investment solutions to meet the needs of a diverse client base, today announced that it has named Gabriela L. Greenman a partner of the firm.
Since joining the firm in 2010, Greenman has played a significant role as an equity research analyst on the firm’s domestic small cap equity team with a particular focus on the Consumer Discretionary and Consumer Staples sectors. She is a member of GW&K’s Investment, ESG and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committees.
Thomas F.X. Powers, co-chief executive officer of GW&K, said, “Gaby’s keen insight, commitment to our disciplined research process, and expertise have played an important role in driving the success of our domestic small cap strategies and their strong track records. There is no doubt in our minds that she will bring this same determination and commitment to the partnership team.”
Greenman, who has two decades of industry experience, joined GW&K from Putnam Investments where she was a research analyst on their small cap team. A well-rounded business and investment professional, she began her investment career at Putnam in its general management rotation program where she worked as an analyst in the investment, marketing, and operations groups — an experience which she attributes to helping her better relate to and evaluate the companies she follows. She also spent three years as a consultant with Accenture where her focus was on improving executive decision support systems.
Greenman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami, and a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
